$399.00
The AMT Z1 is Applied Microphone Technology’s microphone system for Flute. Designed, manufactured by hand, and distributed by AMT in the USA. The system is intended to clip onto standard C flute. The Z1 is the # 1 choice for top professionals that look for the most natural sound reproduction possible from a clip on microphone. All versions of the Z1 now include updated features including D.C.T. (Disconnect Cable Technology) with the ability to connect the Wi5C creating a belt pack free wireless system.
AVAILABLE MODELS: (Z1W-Shure, Z1W-Sennheiser)
The Z1W comes complete with microphone and cable for direct use with the AMT Wi5C wireless system OR for Shure and Sabine or Sennheiser. Order for wireless system to be used.
The Z1 in its stock configuration is the perfect choice for the player that requires a hard wired (non wireless) belt pack style setup and intends to perform only on flute. The WS comes in five versions. (Z1, Z1i, Z1W – Shure, Z1W – Sennheiser) All of the microphones are identical and all can also be used wirelessly. The decision between the versions comes when one would choose between wireless, hardwired, and / or require both.
The latest Z1 updates allow the player to easily change to and from AMT’s different preamps while also allowing for direct connections to the Wi5C, Shure, Sabine, Line 6, or Sennheiser wireless systems. With a change in a cable, convert your Z1 from a beltpack style preamp over to a wireless setup quickly and easily. Cables sold separately.
The AMT Z1 is an excellent choice for soft to loud music for a principal artist, ensemble setting, or as a soloist. The microphones are suspended in a 2 point isolation ring reducing key and handling noise. A microphone is placed near the head joint of the flute, which will cover the complete range of the instrument. Phantom power or 1 AA battery required for hardwired / beltpack use. (BP45) Phantom power required for use with the Z1i. (Inline preamp).
***All AMT microphones require either an AMT Preamp (Inline, BP45) or a wireless system in between the microphone and the mixer. Do NOT connect microphone directly to mixer without a preamp or wireless transmitter.
